REFLECTION
John 4:43-54
“Will I still believe?”
The court official chose to trust in Jesus’ word instead of asking for signs and wonders. He chose not to demand that Jesus perform a miracle according to his terms and conditions.
Let us desire to have absolute trust in Jesus and the power of His word.
Do I see Jesus as a “vending machine” Do I put my prayer request and expect Him to answer according to what I want?

“我仍然相信吗？”
王臣相信耶稣的话，不求征兆。让我们学习信赖祂。
我能够信赖耶稣，而不强求祂按我的意思回应我？

RENUNGAN
Yohanes 4:43-54
“Adakah saya masih akan percaya?”
Pegawai mahkamah memilih untuk percaya kata-kata Yesus daripada meminta tanda-tanda dan keajaiban. Dia memilih untuk tidak mendesak bahawa Yesus melakukan keajaiban berdasarkan terma dan keadaannya.
Marilah kita menginginkan kepercayaan mutlak kepada Yesus dan kekuasaan firmanNya.
Adakah saya melihat Yesus seperti “mesin layan diri”. Adakah saya mahu Yesus menjawab doa-doa permohonan saya berdasarkan apa yang saya kehendaki?
